We are about to set off on an epic journey into a land that has mesmerized travel enthusiasts to its majestic roads. From the city of Chandigarh, crossing some of the highest roads in the world, into the vast expanse of Ladakh.

A convoy of Volkswagen cars is all set to chart their course on an adventure beyond measure, because when you're in a Volkswagen, ain't no mountain high enough!

Day 1: 9^th June

Arriving in Chandigarh. Day spent connecting with fellow travelers to gear up for the journey ahead, followed by a gala evening.

Hotel : ITC Welcome Heritage, Ramgarh.

Day 2: 10^th June

Flag off - Beginning of the epic journey into the mystifying Himalayas. A drive from Chandigarh to Manali.
Learn a few new tricks that will help you on any road trip in the future.

Hotel : Radisson Palchan Hotel & Spa, Palchan, Manali

Day 3: 11^th June

Go for a morning stroll through an apple orchard and walk by the Himalayan river, where time stands still.
Journey continues to Jispa – via an engineering marvel – The Atal tunnel that cuts under the Rohtang Pass reducing the travel time by over 3 hours.

Day 4: 12^th June

Be prepared for an early morning drive to Leh, as it takes you over 4 high altitudes roads – Baralacha La, Nakee La, Lachalung La & Tanglang La.
Twist and turn with the dynamic abilities through the 21 hairpin bends of the famous Gata loops.
Witness the landscape change from the scant alpine to barren cold deserts with More and Sarchu Plains; an enormous flat land 15000 feet above sea level
Drive alongside the Himalayan rivers like Chenab, Bhaga & the Indus

Day 5: 13^th June

Enjoy a day off in Leh, rest and relax or visit the town to see some of the sights. Indulge in local delicacies, or shop!
In the evening, a barbecue dinner awaits you on the bank of the river Indus as you reminisce the journey under the stars.

Day 6: 14^th June

Airport transfers will take you to the airport for your flight back home post the Experience, as you relive the memories of your journey.

Frequently Asked Questions

Volkswagen cars will be provided to participants who register themselves for the event.

Volkswagen Experiences welcome everyone. In our upcoming Ladakh expedition, participants will be equipped with fully fueled vehicles for the journey.

The Ladakh expedition can accommodate a maximum of 60 participants.

Each group will comprise 15 cars, with four individuals in each car. If you've signed up solo, you'll either be paired with another solo participant or assigned an experienced guide to ensure a safe journey.

Individuals aged between 15 and 60 years. However, only those above 18 years, with a valid Indian driving license, will be eligible to drive.

Certainly! We'll maintain strict convoy travel during the expedition. However, there may be occasions when the convoy breaks up temporarily due to nature breaks, photo opportunities, or other personal requirements. During such instances, the convoy pace will slow down to accommodate rejoining, ensuring everyone can proceed together seamlessly.

Please be advised that participants are responsible for covering the cost of transportation to reach the starting point of the drive. Rest assured, once you sign up, all necessary information will be provided to you, regarding the meeting point.
